Corporate Paralegal

Your Mission:

As a Corporate Paralegal at QRTIGER CORP., your mission is to provide high-level legal and compliance support to the Legal Department by managing critical deadlines, conducting research, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring operational efficiency. You will play a key role in enabling our legal team — led by the Senior Legal Officer and Corporate Legal Counsel — to focus on strategic decision-making and client-facing matters by ensuring that all documents, filings, and compliance obligations are handled with precision and timeliness.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct legal and compliance research under the guidance of the Senior Legal Officer and Corporate Legal Counsel.
• Draft and proofread contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
• Maintain and manage the department-wide legal calendar, serving as the primary point of responsibility for tracking internal meetings, court dates, filing deadlines, and key events to ensure all critical obligations are met without oversight.
• Maintain a centralized database of contracts, track renewal/expiry dates, and manage contract templates.
• Update and maintain corporate legal files, contracts, and compliance records with meticulous attention to version control and accuracy.
• Assist in preparing board resolutions, shareholder meeting documents, corporate secretary certificates, and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate with other departments to gather and verify documentation needed for compliance and legal purposes.
• Monitor and track changes in applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in preparing compliance reports and regulatory filings, and interface with government agencies for licensing, permits, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Act as a liaison between the legal team and other departments, ensuring smooth information flow and timely follow-ups.
• Support the legal team in high-priority tasks to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Adapt to evolving legal department needs and take on additional responsibilities as the organization grows.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Political Science, or related field (law degree or units in law school is a plus).
• 3+ years of experience in a legal support role, preferably in a corporate or law firm environment.
• Strong understanding of legal processes, compliance requirements, and document management best practices.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and coordinate multiple high-priority tasks without constant supervision.
• Excellent research skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize legal and regulatory information clearly.
• Exceptional attention to detail, proofreading ability, and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle complex calendars and competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google Workspace and familiarity with legal research tools and document management systems.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with both legal and non-legal teams.
