Major Deliverables

  • Achieve 30 MSY target and ensure superior product quality
  • Ensure compliance with:
  • Biosecurity
  • Animal welfare
  • Nutrition
  • Health, safety, and business continuity
  • Coordinate with VP – Farm Operations on operational concerns
  • Manage operations support (forecasting, receiving, releasing of supplies, feeds, and pigs)
  • Maintain accurate data management and reporting
  • Align activities with company objectives and record-keeping standards
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Attend required meetings, trainings, and seminars
  • Train and develop subordinates
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Uphold company core values

Duties and Responsibilities Operations & People Management

  • Ensure SOP compliance in operations, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, and harvest coordination
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of operational areas and vehicles
  • Plan and manage staff work schedules
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of facilities and equipment
  • Submit daily operational data and photo reports
  • Ensure accurate data encoding and analysis
  • Promote teamwork and accountability

Biosecurity & Animal Welfare

  • Enforce animal welfare and biosecurity protocols, including:
  • Shower-in/shower-out procedures
  • Required downtime between farm areas
  • No four-legged food products
  • Strict control of personal items and farm entry materials
  • Internal traffic and sanitation controls
  • Ensure continuous compliance with biosecurity standards

Supply Chain & Logistics

  • Forecast, requisition, receive, and monitor farm supplies
  • Ensure quality and quantity compliance upon receiving
  • Implement FIFO and proper stock handling (e.g., vaccines)
  • Maintain sustainable stock levels
  • Schedule and monitor internal vehicle use, maintenance, and cleanliness

Compost Management

  • Manage compost pits efficiently and hygienically
  • Ensure availability of composting materials
  • Monitor proper carcass disposal and decomposition

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and accountability
  • Swine production experience (preferred)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding farm environments
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
