Position Summary:

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of personnel, property, and facilities. Ensures that all security protocols are followed to prevent theft, vandalism, accidents, and other incidents.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and secure assigned premises through regular patrols.
  • Control access and authorize entrance of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, or suspicious activities.
  • Conduct inspection of bags, packages, and vehicles as required.
  • Maintain detailed daily activity and incident reports.
  • Assist in enforcing company policies, safety procedures, and regulations.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when needed.
  • Provide assistance and directions to visitors and employees.
  • Ensure proper use and safekeeping of security equipment.
  • Perform other security-related tasks as may be assigned.

Security Guard – Job Qualifications (JQ)

  • Must be a High School graduate (College level or degree is an advantage).
  • With valid security guard license issued by PNP-SOSIA.
  • Preferably with NC II in Security Services.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year experience in security or related field.
  • Physically fit, mentally alert, and of good moral character.
  • Ability to communicate clearly (both oral and written).
  • Knowledgeable in handling security equipment (radio, CCTV monitoring, etc.).
  • Can remain calm and act quickly during emergencies.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must possess strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and discipline.
