Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and process day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial documents related to manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and overhead allocation.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.
  • Monitor and reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts to ensure accuracy and timely payments or collections.
  • Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to track and verify cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory movement.
  • Support budget preparation and variance analysis related to production costs and operational expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, assist with tax filings and audits as needed.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and assist with depreciation schedules.
  • Generate financial reports and summaries for management review.
  • Assist in implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve financial accuracy.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Use accounting software and ERP systems effectively for accurate record-keeping and reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or food industry environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or local standards) and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
