Job Description

The Restaurant Head is responsible for the overall management, leadership, and performance of the restaurant. This role ensures smooth daily operations, high standards of food and service quality, effective team supervision, and achievement of operational and financial goals. The Restaurant Head plays a key role in delivering excellent guest experiences while maintaining company policies, service standards, and brand reputation.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee the overall daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency and service excellence
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff to maintain high performance and professionalism
  • Ensure consistent delivery of quality food, beverage, and customer service standards
  • Handle guest concerns, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
  • Monitor staff scheduling, attendance, discipline, and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth workflow
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and sanitation standards
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and proper use of restaurant supplies and equipment
  • Control operational costs, including labor, food, and supplies, within approved budgets
  • Prepare reports on restaurant performance, sales, manpower, and operational concerns
  • Implement management directives, promotions, and operational improvements

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in restaurant operations, with supervisory or managerial experience
  • Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, inventory control, and basic cost management
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
