Position Overview
The Social Media and Branding Specialist is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing social media and branding content that reflects the company's identity and drives engagement across platforms.
This role combines strategic content planning with creative execution, including photo and video editing, to deliver high-quality and visually compelling content for clients and internal brands.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, skilled at crafting effective social media campaigns, interpreting performance data, and producing content that builds strong brand presence and audience connection.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Strategy
- Develop, plan, and execute monthly social media and branding calendars for multiple brands or clients.
- Create engaging, platform-specific content (posts, stories, reels, videos, and graphics).
- Research trends, hashtags, and best practices to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Write compelling captions and calls-to-action aligned with each brand's voice and goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social and branding content aligns with overall strategy.
2. Photo & Video Editing
- Edit photos for color correction, composition, and branding consistency using Photoshop or Lightroom.
- Edit short-form videos (Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.) for storytelling and brand appeal.
- Add captions, transitions, and music to enhance engagement and viewer retention.
- Maintain organized file management systems for all digital assets.
- Occasionally assist with or provide creative direction during content shoots.
3. Social Media Management
- Schedule and publish content across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Monitor brand mentions and participate in community engagement.
- Track and report on performance metrics, optimizing strategies based on insights.
4. Branding & Collaboration
- Ensure all content adheres to each client's branding and design guidelines.
- Collaborate with Design, Photography, and Video teams for cohesive storytelling.
- Support brand development initiatives, including logo usage, visual consistency, and tone alignment.
- Contribute creative ideas to improve brand awareness, reach, and audience engagement.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, or related field (preferred but not required).
- 2–3 years of experience managing social media and branding for brands or agencies.
- Proven experience in photo and video editing.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in:
- Photo editing: Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Canva
- Video editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Social media tools: Meta Business Suite, etc.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics).
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, branding principles, and content trends.

- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
