Position Overview:

We are seeking a strategic, innovative, and relationship-focused Social Media Specialist to oversee and enhance our brand's organic social media presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive content calendars, producing engaging short-form videos and posts, and delivering strategic insights to optimize social media performance. This role offers flexibility in location, requiring strong English communication skills, creative thinking, and proven social media expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute monthly social media content calendars aligned with brand pillars
  • Produce three reels per month and weekly posts for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Craft compelling captions and provide artwork direction in collaboration with our studio team
  • Manage feedback rounds, ensuring content aligns with brand voice and strategic objectives
  • Provide ongoing strategic recommendations to enhance engagement, reach, and growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams utilizing platforms such as Sprout Social, Meta, and LinkedIn

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in social media content creation and management
  • Exceptional creative writing skills and fluency in English
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide actionable social media recommendations
  • Proficiency with Sprout Social, Meta, and LinkedIn
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connectivity and dedicated workspace
  • Positive, relationship-oriented personality

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop) and video editing software (a plus but not required)
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices

Candidate Profile:

  • Mid-level professional with 3-5 years' relevant experience
  • Creative thinker with a proactive approach
  • Excellent command of English, with clear and professional communication skills
  • Able to foster positive relationships internally and with stakeholders

Home Office Requirements:

Workspace:

  • A dedicated, well-ventilated workspace free from distracting noises is essential.
  • The environment should be professional, quiet, and suitable for video conferencing, with a plain wall as a background.
  • Invest in a sturdy, comfortable office chair to support extended work periods.

Computer and Peripherals:

  • A reliable computer with at least a 3 GHz processor, 8 GB RAM, sound card, and dual monitors inches) is required.
  • Recommended but not mandatory: Intel Core i5 (8th gen or newer) or AMD Ryzen 5 (or equivalent) for better performance.
  • High-definition webcams (such as Logitech or A4 Tech) must be functional for video calls.
  • Contractors must purchase noise-canceling headsets (preferably Plantronics Black wire C320M); consult recruiters for options prior to starting.

Internet & Software:

  • A stable internet connection of at least 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed is required; a backup connection is recommended for interruptions.
  • Use the latest operating system version.
  • Necessary software includes Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat Reader, antivirus, anti-spyware, and a functioning firewall.
