Job Title: Onboarding and Offboarding Specialist

Set-up: Full Work Onsite

Location: Ortigas, Pasig

Schedule: 8am - 5pm | Fixed weekends off

Overall purpose of the Job:

To work in partnership with leaders, key stakeholders and team members to ensure smooth and effective onboarding process for new hires and facilitate a streamlined process for exiting employees. Ensure our hiring procedure comply with labor laws. The responsibilities of the specialist include helping new hires learn the company policies, showing new hires their job duties, scheduling start dates for new hires, and gathering the necessary paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as bridge between recruitment and payroll & benefits ensuring a smooth transition

  • Function as the single focal point for any inquiries or concerns incoming employees will have.

  • Acting as a primary point of contact for new starters.

  • Ensuring new starters employment documents are received and properly stored, along with enrolling new starters for government benefits, health benefits, and any other relevant programs run by the business.

  • Work with the business to ensure that each new hire will have a robust onboarding plan.

  • Preparing onboarding packs to welcome new employees and ensuring relevant information is included.

  • Coordinating with the relocation and redeployment of employees.

  • Actively gathering and processing feedback from new recruits on the onboarding process and recommending improvements where required.

  • Arranging relevant access to hardware and software required by the new recruits.

  • Ensure smooth transition of the MyHR disposition process.

  • Conducting market research and keeping up to date with industry best practices.

  • Collect feedback from employees about their experience and use it to find effective ways to improve our company's onboarding process.

  • Ensure MyHR offboarding process is done on a timely manner.

  • Issues the formal notice of termination or resignation acceptance and can update all reports including MyHR on the date and reason.

  • Provides weekly update to the relevant stakeholders on the attrition trends.

  • Manage the exit interview process and ensure to document the feedback.

  • Notify relevant stakeholders and handle the announcement for exiting employees.

  • Ensure the collection of all company resources and ensure smooth coordination with the approvers.

  • Responsible for terminating and revoking the necessary HR / system rights.

  • Coordinates with the C&B team on final pay and benefits including updating the leaver.
