About the Role

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a foundational knowledge of SEO and a knack for precise execution?

We are looking for an SEO Operations Specialist (what we internally call an "Onboarding Friend") to play a critical role in setting up and launching new customer accounts. You'll be the crucial link that ensures our customer accounts are configured perfectly from day one. This involves utilizing our internal tools, verifying data accuracy, conducting keyword research, and performing critical quality checks on outputs generated by our AI agents and SEO tools to ensure every new account is ready for high-quality, ongoing content and technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

As an Onboarding Friend, your primary focus will be precision and setup:

  • Customer Setup: Review customer onboarding forms and accurately input data into our internal systems and tools.
  • CMS Configuration: Complete platform-specific configurations for customer sites using WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and other CMS platforms, troubleshooting any edge-case issues that arise.
  • Keyword Research: Execute foundational keyword research using proprietary tools and supplement with deeper cluster expansion using tools like Semrush.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Perform rigorous QA on AI-generated SEO strategy documents and automation outputs to check for completeness, coherence, and alignment with customer goals before deployment.
  • Process Adherence: Consistently follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and accurately use internal task-tracking platforms.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum Requirements

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on detail and the ability to execute repetitive tasks accurately and consistently.
  • SEO Fundamentals: A solid understanding of basic SEO concepts, including keywords, search intent, metadata, and page structure.
  • Communication: Good written communication and documentation skills, with above-average proficiency in English.
  • Tech Comfort: Comfortable working across various CMS platforms and adapting to minor troubleshooting needs.
  • Experience: Prior experience in SEO operations or CMS setup workflows is a plus, but junior-level candidates with a strong focus on detail are highly encouraged to apply

Desired Skills

  • SEO Tools: Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
  • Operational Mindset: Experience with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Jira, ) and strong organizational skills to handle multiple concurrent projects.
  • On-Page & Technical Basics: Strong understanding of on-page SEO (meta tags, headers, etc.) and familiarity with technical SEO basics (sitemaps, indexing, Core Web Vitals).
