We are hiring a Leave of Absence (LOA) Administrator to support HR operations in managing employee leave requests while ensuring full regulatory compliance. This role focuses on documentation review, employee guidance, process efficiency, and maintaining confidentiality for US-based employees.
LOA Team Functions
- Ensure all leave processes comply with federal, state, and local laws such as FMLA, ADA, and other applicable regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees requesting information and assistance regarding leaves of absence.
- Streamline and standardize LOA processes, including documentation review, tracking, and communication with stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with employee leaves, including leave misuse, extended absences, and attendance concerns.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of leave policies and procedures.
- Provide empathetic and professional support to employees navigating personal or medical situations.
Core responsibilities
- Assist with administrative tasks related to leave of absence (LOA) processing
- Review LOA documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate with employees regarding LOA status and requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with all relevant regulations
- Support the LOA team with various ad-hoc tasks.
Qualifications
- Background in HR, LOA administration, Healthcare CSR, Insurance, or related support work preferred.
- Strong grasp of documentation review and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional handling of sensitive and confidential employee matters.
- Willing to work full onsite in BGC, night shift schedule, with shifting hours and possible extensions.
