Job Qualification:

  • Male/Female
  • Bachelor's/College Degree, in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • With license Civil Engineer
  • Preferably 1-2 years' experience specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent
  • Extensive work experience as Quantity Surveyor in large-scale infrastructure projects is highly preferred
  • Capable of conducting long working hours and have the stamina for extended hours of strenuous, physical office and field work.
  • Must be organized, accurate, thorough and able to monitor work quality
  • Must be adept at problem solving including being able to identify issues and resolve it in a timely manner
  • Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
  • Physically and mentally fit
  • With good moral character
  • Can work with less supervision
  • Flexible and willing to work overtime when needed

Job Description:

DAILY TASK:

  • Attends toolbox meeting
  • Reads and responds to e-mails and messages (outlook, teams and/or viber)
  • One Communities
  • Checks and monitor all materials delivered on site and make sure it is within the estimates.
  • Follow ups Purchasing Department regarding request and delivery.
  • Checks and monitor actual stock inventory on site.
  • Prepares estimates needed.
  • Checks if materials ordered for One Communities has been delivered.
  • Reviews request coming from site and make sure it is within the estimates.
  • Checks and reviews receiving and issuances of site.
  • Follow ups approval of pending RS and POs

WEEKLY TASK:

  • Checks and review all weekly billings at One Communities
  • Checks and review contracts.
  • Plots to AutoCAD weekly billing accomplishment.
  • Monitors weekly billing accomplishments.
  • Checks and review weekly materials report and issuances.
  • Requests Materials.
  • Encodes requisitions to Materials Requisition System (MRS)

Monthly Tasks

  • Prepares monthly projection of materials needed on site.
  • Requests materials needed on site.
  • Schedules delivery of materials ordered on site.
  • Updates, monitors and reviews Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
  • Site visits for monitoring of materials.
  • Encodes requisitions to Materials Requisition System (MRS)

OTHER SERVICES/ TASKS DONE WHEN THE NEED ARISES:

  • Requests materials for other projects needed.
  • Prepares estimates needed.
  • Checks and reviews estimates made by assigned personnel.
  • Prepares Bill of Materials (BOM) & Bill of Labor (BOL) for project labor contract.
  • Ensures filing of documents related to the task assigned are up to date for record purposes and future reference.
  • Prepares budget intended for a project.
  • Performs other related tasks as may be required by the management and/or immediate head.
