Job Description: Café Operations Manager
Position Summary

The Café Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the café, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality standards in food and beverages, and managing staff performance. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, financial oversight, and the implementation of operational procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability.


Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
  • Oversee daily café operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and coordinate supply orders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment.
Staff Leadership & Development
  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when needed.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture that promotes engagement and high performance.
  • Ensure staff deliver excellent customer service and adhere to brand standards.
Customer Service & Experience
  • Ensure guests receive high-quality service and have a positive café experience.
  • Handle customer feedback, inquiries, and complaints professionally.
  • Monitor service quality and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.


Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience as a café, restaurant, or hospitality manager.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and café operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
