Career Development Coordinator
Responsible to the Director Operations Department / General Manager
General
In charge of all matters pertaining to seafarers in taking their training/obtaining their higher ranks.
Main Duties
To guide prospective officers for their entire career in the company.
Interview, assessment, and recommendation for promotion or for training.
Identifies and arranges the process of suitable candidates for Junior and Senior Officer
Course.
Monitor information internally/externally and report anything of significance to the Director Operations Department / General Manager.
Acts as a back-up during the absence of the Cadet Training Coordinator.
Liaises with the Director Operations Department / General Manager with regards to
Career Progression / Promotable and Value-Added Training.
- Communication with:
· Cadets onboard
· Group HRM
· MTC's
· SMC Fleet Personnel Teams
· External Training providers
· Maritime Academies and Maritime Training Companies
- Extract in PAL the Promotable per position every end of the month. Monitor and assess
the Promotable as per checklist.
- Other duties as maybe assigned by the Fleet Personnel Manager / Director Operations

Experience:
- Sailed in rank as Junior Engineer: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Bs Marine Engineering (OIC License) (Required)
