About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to join our team at Dumaguete Bank in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. As a full-time Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overall branch management and promoting the Bank's deposit products and services and credit and loan products to ensure achievement of targets and maintain good client relations as well as the proper implementation of Bank policies and procedures and timely submission of reports. This is a key position that will contribute significantly to the overall success of our retail banking operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers, deepen existing customer relationships, and achieve sales and profitability targets
  • Oversee the efficient delivery of all retail banking products and services, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze branch performance data, identify growth opportunities, and implement action plans to improve branch efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment that motivates and empowers the branch team
  • Represent the bank in the local community, build relationships with key stakeholders, and identify new business development opportunities

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail banking or branch management role, ideally within the banking & financial services industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, train, and motivate a high-performing team
  • Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver a superior client experience
  • Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and performance management
  • Solid understanding of retail banking products, services, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and risk management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels
