Facilities Manager

URGENT HIRING

We're urgently looking for FACILITIES MANAGER to join our growing team

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Maintenance Technology, or related technical/vocational course.
• PRC License (Mechanical/Electrical Engineer) is an advantage but not required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance, HVAC systems, electrical/mechanical repairs, or building operations.
• Experience coordinating with vendors and contractors for large-scale facility repairs or maintenance services.
• Background in preventive maintenance programs and environmental safety protocols preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and alarm/security systems troubleshooting.
• Knowledgeable in fire alarm panels, utility distribution, and building management systems (BMS).
• Basic knowledge of engineering design support, commissioning, and equipment calibration.
• Familiar with hazardous materials handling and safety procedures (OSHA or DOLE standards).

Other Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to perform tasks involving lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, especially with operations and support teams.
• Organized, proactive, and solution-oriented when addressing facility-related concerns.
• Willing to travel to other company sites as needed.
• Flexible and able to adapt to shifting schedules or urgent maintenance calls.
• Preferred Certifications (an advantage):
• TESDA NC II or III in Electrical Installation & Maintenance, Refrigeration and Airconditioning, or related fields
• Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Certification

Working Schedule: Flexible/Flexitime

Offered Salary: Php 50,000-70,000/month (depends on skills & experience)

What you will do:

• Contacts repair and maintenance companies when large repairs are needed, and assist (HVAC, etc.);
• Must be willing to travel to other company facilities as needed;
• Daily interaction with hazardous materials used in a controlled environment;
• Serve as the alarm system company contact and assist General Manager with corporate security matters;
• Maintain all lightings, controlled environment and conduct minor repairs of HVAC systems (i.e. Filter changes & preventative maintenance);
• Maintain knowledge of existing facilities (learn location files, utility feeds, electrical distribution, fire alarm panel functions, etc.);
• The role entails moderate to considerable physical activity (handling objects, standing or walking for extended periods, etc.);
• Conducts walk-through inspections of CTE "career-technical-education" facilities regularly and addresses needed issues (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, electronics, HVAC, etc.);
• Performs unclogging of drains and replacement of fixtures to meet operating standards and customer satisfaction;
• Communicate proactively with operations team and support staff, highlighting issues;
• Provide engineering support for design, construction, startup, commissioning and qualification of new or modified systems;
