manage client tax filings and ensure full adherence to government reporting requirements. This role involves end-to-end responsibility for preparing, validating, and submitting tax returns and compliance documents while keeping clients aligned with BIR standards and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the preparation, review, and electronic filing of VAT, withholding, income tax, and other government-mandated returns.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all tax computations, schedules, and supporting reports.
  • Manage communication with the BIR regarding assessments, notices, and documentation requests.
  • Monitor updates in tax regulations and government issuances to maintain compliance.
  • Work directly with clients to gather and verify financial data and other information required for reporting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in taxation, BIR compliance, or general accounting, preferably from an accounting or audit firm.
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or any equivalent course.
  • Strong understanding of BIR procedures and e-filing systems such as eFPS and eBIRForms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems or software.
  • Highly analytical, organized, and dependable in meeting filing and submission deadlines.
