Independently manage client tax filings and compliance requirements. The role covers end-to-end preparation, validation, and submission of tax reports while ensuring full adherence to BIR rules and deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit all tax-related filings such as VAT, withholding, and income tax returns in line with regulatory timelines.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all computations and supporting schedules.
  • Manage communication and document submissions for BIR audits, assessments, and other compliance matters.
  • Stay informed on changes in tax regulations, BIR memoranda, and government issuances affecting compliance.
  • Gather and review client financial data and documents needed for tax reporting and filing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in taxation, compliance, or general accounting, preferably from an audit or accounting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, or a related program.
  • Well-versed in BIR procedures and e-filing systems (eFPS, eBIRForms, and similar platforms).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications.
  • Organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple deadlines with precision.
