Responsible for the IT Security Operations of STIHL Group focusing on protecting the organization's information systems from cyber threats and breaches.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor security infrastructure to detect suspicious activities and potential threats.
  • Respond to security incidents, analyzing and mitigating threats to minimize damage and initiation of the corrective actions.
  • Use advanced tools and methodologies to identify vulnerabilities and prevent future attacks.
  • Active improvement of SOC processes and capabilities in collaboration other IT and security teams in Headquarters and Regional Centers.
  • Driving cyber security measures as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Mentoring junior team members.
  • Stay updated on and share the latest cybersecurity threats and advancements with the team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in IT Security, IT or a comparable qualification
  • 5 years' experience working in an IT Security Operation Center or within IT Security Operations
  • Working with multiple Security tools like CrowdStrike, SIEM systems, Microsoft Defender Suite and SOAR solutions.
  • Profound knowledge about cyber security frameworks like NIST, MITRE, Cyber Kill Chain, ISO27001, COBIT, CIS.
  • Programming skills appreciated
  • Certifications like GSOC, CYSA+, CSA or similar appreciated
  • Analytical thinking and structured working style
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation (weekends)

  • Fluent in English, written and spoken (C1 minimum)

  • Willingness to travel for team workshops.

  • Working in an international Team.
  • Willing to work on a hybrid set-up (onsite location: FPIP Sto. Tomas, Batangas)
