Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Analyst, located in Batangas. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and developing financial strategies. Day-to-day tasks include financial planning, reviewing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and providing financial forecasting. The role also involves supporting decision-making with accurate financial insights and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling & Analysis
• Build and maintain 3-statement financial models (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
• Develop scenario analysis, forecasting, and budgeting models to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct sensitivity and variance analysis to evaluate business performance.
• Apply basic valuation methods such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Comparable Company Analysis, and Precedent Transactions.
• FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Analyze actual performance vs. budget, identifying key variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Provide financial insights to leadership for resource allocation, cost management, and profitability optimization.
• M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions)
• Assist in evaluating potential investment or acquisition opportunities.
• Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and synergy assessments.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations to support deal negotiations and decision-making.
• Market Research & Reporting
• Conduct industry and competitive analysis to assess market trends and business opportunities.
• Prepare detailed investment memos, pitch books, and financial reports for stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree or CFA level preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, FP&A, or M&A. (Strictly no fresh graduates.)
• Proven ability to create and maintain 3-statement financial models and apply valuation methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, financial modeling software, and presentation tools (PowerPoint/Google Slides).
• Experience with ERP systems, BI tools, or financial planning software is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to present financial data clearly.
