About the role

The Sales Associate is responsible for promoting the company's micro-lending products, generating borrowers and maintaining client relationships. This role involves marketing, client acquisition, basic loan assessment and support in collections to ensure high-quality borrowers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Promote micro lending products to small business owners.
  2. Conduct community visits, door to door campaigns.
  3. Preparing loan applications, documents and paperwork for customers
  4. Conducting basic credit checks and risk assessments on prospective borrowers
  5. Explain loan features, requirements and repayment terms to prospective clients
  6. Maintain good relationship with existing clients to encourage loyalty and repeat borrowing
  7. Remind clients of repayment schedules
  8. Assist in follow-ups for overdue accounts in coordination with the Collection/Field Officers
  9. Encourage clients to pay on time to maintain good credit standing

What we're looking for

  1. College graduate preferred with at least 2 years in micro lending
  2. Strong communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
  3. Basic financial and mathematical knowledge to understand micro lending products
  4. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  5. Experience in sales, marketing or field work (preferably in micro lending
  6. Willingness to do fieldwork and community engagement
  7. Familiarity with credit assessment and risk analysis processes
  8. Honest, Trusted, Reliable and customer-oriented
  9. Customer satisfaction and retention
  10. Proficiency if MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  11. With its own motorcycle preferred
