We operate across multiple lending products: inventory financing, distributor financing, QRPH payments, and cash management—and are now expanding to serve new verticals such as carinderias, pharmacies, digital resellers, hardware stores, and more.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Lending Head to lead the new business verticals as the next growth sector for SariPay. This is a general management role, reporting directly to the CEO, responsible for building new lending verticals from 0 to scale. This is more than a product role—you will own P&L, drive GTM strategy, lead cross-functional execution (partnerships, S&D, field teams), and scale the business.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own new MSME lending verticals. Our target market is supply chain, inventory financing and business loans within the FMCG sector, F&B, Pharma supply chain, and small services sectors.
  • Conduct market discovery and validation to size opportunities and pain points for products like inventory financing and discounting, business loans, inventory loans.
  • Define product design, credit frameworks, and distribution strategies working with the functional teams in risk management, S&D, and product development.
  • Lead partnerships with distributors, cooperatives, and suppliers for high-scale merchant acquisition.
  • Collaborate with credit risk, collections, data, and tech teams to balance growth and risk.
  • Deliver 3x–5x growth in the next 3 years.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years in MSME lending, with experience in digital lending, NBFCs, or fintechs. Consulting background from top tier consulting firms is also acceptable.
  • Experience should clearly show an understanding of supply chain financing, inventory loans, or business loans in B2B vertical segments.
  • Proven track record in scaling new financial services and products by opening new channel partners and supply chain industry verticals.
  • Good understanding of cash-flow underwriting and risk management in the MSME space.
  • Strong understanding of lending P&L, unit economics, and operational levers.
  • Local language skills are very important as you would be talking to local MSMEs, partners and sales teams.
