Job Overview

The System Analyst II is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions by gathering and analyzing data, defining system requirements, and creating functional specifications for new systems or system enhancements. He/She plays a crucial role in ensuring that the implemented systems are effectively integrated, meet quality standards, and align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities

·       Builds and reviews functional specifications for large-scale scope; Translates business requirements into functional/non-functional and software product design.

·       Understands the design of the product and evaluates if it aligns with Business Requirements and the solution

·       Creates process flow/sequence diagram/prototypes as required; Creates user stories and diagrams/workflows

·       Develops Data Mapping documents and identifies gaps, impacts, and risks; Works with cross-functional teams to transition projects and ensure the accurate representation of business needs and expectations in the final solution

·       Attends advanced training sessions and obtains certifications in multiple domains; Seeks coaching from experts.

·       Assists in establishing project, scope, system goals, and requirements; Finds practical business solutions while considering best practices and technologies; Maintains a deep understanding of business processes and collaborates with the business team on requirements collection and analysis.

·       Provide support for complex technical and application-related issues, providing expert guidance on defect analysis.

·       The Systems Analyst shall support the IT helpdesk and engineering team, ensuring effective resolution of issues.

·       Coordinate with other members of the tech team where necessary to ensure continuity of service.

Job Qualifications

Technical Skills: ( Must Have Skills )

·       Minimum of 8 years of total work experience in IT industry.

·       Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as Systems Analyst.

·       Educational Attainment/Required course (if applicable): Bachelor's degree in computer science, or IT related courses.

·       Minimum of 2 yrs experience in Banking Domain.


• Experience in systems integration and API design (at least 1 year)

·       Experience in Agile issue and project tracking software (e.g., Jira) and Agile (at least 1 year)

·       Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Wiki, SharePoint)

Good to Have Skills:

·       Required/Preferred Certification/Professional License (if applicable):

Certified Systems Analyst Professional (CSAP)

Six Sigma Green Belt

Prince2 Practitioner
