The Accounting Officer will play a key role within the Finance Division and will oversee accounting, treasury, reporting, and finance operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with administrators and the Executive Director.

This position reports directly to the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee bank transactions, treasury functions, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Manage books-related processes and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Lead performance management reporting for financial activities.
  • Handle payroll preparation and processing.
  • Review, validate, and approve requests prior to endorsement to the Executive Director.
  • Conduct financial research and serve as the point of contact for finance-related inquiries.
  • Prepare budget reports and monitor budget performance.
  • Coordinate with administrators and other departments regarding finance documentation.
  • Support the Finance Division in day-to-day accounting operations and drive process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with flexible schedules and hybrid work arrangements.
