Job Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue through proactive sales activities, client relationship management, and business development within the hospitality sector. With solid experience in hotel and resort sales, the role focuses on driving group bookings, corporate accounts, leisure partnerships, and event sales. The Sales Executive maintains strong networks, negotiates profitable contracts, and ensures that sales strategies align with occupancy and revenue targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in corporate, leisure, MICE, and group travel segments.
- Expand partnerships with travel agencies, event organizers, and corporate accounts.
- Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, and property presentations.
Account Management
- Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with clients.
- Coordinate with reservations and operations to ensure client requirements are met.
Sales Execution & Targets
- Achieve monthly and annual sales quotas in line with resort revenue goals.
- Promote seasonal promotions, packages, and BAR strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend pricing adjustments.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and OTA extranets.
Events & Promotions
- Assist in the promotion and sales of events, functions, and special packages.
- Support marketing campaigns, travel expos, and property showcases.
- Represent the resort at trade fairs, B2B meetings, and networking events.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline reports, client databases, and call logs.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports on sales activities and results.
- Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- 6 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 4 years as a Sales Executive.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing corporate/agency accounts.
- Strong knowledge of hotel/resort operations, OTAs, and group booking processes.
- Established network in the travel, tourism, and corporate sectors.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent sales negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
- Good understanding of hospitality pricing strategies (BAR, corporate rates, group discounts).
- Presentation and public speaking skills for B2B engagements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
