Key Responsibilities

  • Lead category planning processes for assigned product categories, translating brand strategies into trade initiatives.
  • Develop and implement channel-specific marketing programs to increase sales, market share, and consumer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to execute promotional plans, retail campaigns, and merchandising strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, shopper behavior, and competitor activities to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Manage trade spending effectively, ensuring ROl-positive investments and alignment with business objectives.
  • Own the annual planning cycle for trade marketing, including activity calendars, budget allocation, and performance reviews for assigned brands.
  • Coordinate with Key Accounts for joint business planning and customized trade programs.
  • Track performance through KPIs and scorecards, and provide actionable insights and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with supply chain and demand planning to ensure inventory alignment with marketing activity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, or related roles within FMCG or Consumer Goods.
  • Strong understanding of the Philippine retail landscape and shopper dynamics.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful trade marketing programs.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and category management software (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Power BI).
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Highly analytical, results-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
