Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Marketing & Public Relations at Singapore Airlines located in Makati City, Philippines. Marketing & Public Relations will be responsible for the following:

1. Market and Partnerships Development

  • Plans meetings with possible partners
  • Plans and organizes presentations
  • Updates project calendar and chart with market development and partnership activities
  • Communicates program brief to supporting departments prior to launch of assigned campaigns
  • Works with Sales Department for joint sales and marketing activities

2. Digital Marketing

  • Plans, schedules, and develops content for web pages, electronic direct mailer (eDM), social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), digital marketing ads (display banners, rich media, SEO/SEM) and other real-time marketing efforts
  • Provides marketing tracking and research information by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends with the use of available tools including Google Analytics 4, Tableau, and other data dashboards
  • Coordinate with relevant business units in Head Office including brand marketing, digital, and e-commerce departments for proper implementation and execution of digital marketing campaigns

3. Advertising & Promotions

  • Creates and updates media schedule for the fiscal year
  • Conceptualizes and implements advertising and marketing campaigns, which may include copy and design
  • Establishes partner contacts and updates mailing list
  • Coordinates with media agency for ad placements, media schedule, and Ad Standards Council requirements
  • Coordinates with creative agency for design and development of marketing and promotion materials
  • Processes vendor invoices
  • Monitors the budget

4. Loyalty Marketing

  • Supports promotions and loyalty marketing activities
  • Supports KrisFlyer acquisition through digital marketing initiatives
  • Increases job knowledge by monitoring other airlines' loyalty programme activities

5. Public Relations

  • Assists in coordinating with PR Agency for press releases and media briefings, as needed
  • Establish and maintain good relationship with internal and external stakeholders, key media, content creators, influencers, partners, etc. including government affairs, as necessary

6. Collateral Stock

  • Maintains and monitors collateral stock/promotional material inventory for sales and marketing & PR
  • Conducts quotation exercise prior to order placements, places orders and processes invoices, as necessary

7. Others

  • Basic Photoshop or Canva knowledge is a plus
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Handles ad hoc projects

Qualifications

  • Press Releases, Communication, and Media Relations skills
  • Customer Service and Public Relations skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Experience in the airline or hospitality industry is a plus
  • Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage
