About the role

This is a full-time Compensation & Benefits Officer role based in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental, reporting into the Human Resources department at SOUTHERN ARMS CORPORATION'. In this key position, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.

What you'll be doing

Administering and maintaining the company's compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonus schemes, and employee perks Conducting market research and analysis to benchmark the company's compensation and benefits against industry peers Collaborating with the HR team to develop, implement, and monitor compensation and benefits policies and procedures Providing guidance and support to employees on questions related to compensation and benefits Assisting with the annual performance review process and making recommendations on salary adjustments and promotions Preparing reports and presentations on the company's compensation and benefits programs for management Staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and regulations, and ensuring the company's practices are compliant

What we're looking for

At least 3 years of experience in a compensation and benefits role, preferably within the Human Resources or Remuneration & Benefits function Strong understanding of compensation and benefits best practices, including salary structures, incentive plans, and employee benefits Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels Proficiency in using HR information systems and data analysis tools Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
