Sales Deputy Manager Director

The Sales Deputy Manager supports the Sales Director in planning, executing, and overseeing the company's sales operations. This role helps drive revenue growth, manage key accounts, lead the sales team, and ensure that sales strategies align with overall business objectives. The position also serves as the acting head of sales when the Sales Director is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
Assist the Sales Director in developing and implementing annual sales strategies and revenue plans.
Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and setting team sales targets.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
Supervise and guide sales managers and representatives to achieve individual and team KPIs.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching, training, and ongoing development.
Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on motivation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Business Development & Key Accounts
Support the acquisition of new clients and expansion into new markets.
Maintain strong relationships with major accounts, acting as a senior contact for high-value clients.
Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing agreements, and strategic partnerships.
4. Operational Management
Monitor day-to-day sales operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Oversee the preparation of sales reports, dashboards, and performance analytics.
Work closely with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to enable effective sales execution.
5. Customer Experience & Quality Assurance
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve escalated issues.
Promote service quality, product knowledge, and customer-centric practices within the team.
6. Acting Leadership Role
- Serve as the acting Sales Director in their absence, overseeing all strategic and operational sales functions.
QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree
Experience
- 5 years of progressive sales experience, including leadership roles.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing a multi-functional or regionally dispersed sales team (preferred).
Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales management software.
