About the role

Styrotech Corporation is seeking a driven and experienced individual to oversee the strategic development and execution of key product categories. You will be responsible for driving commercial growth, optimising category performance, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This is a full-time role based in Meycauayan City, Bulacan.

What you'll be doing

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to develop effective category strategies
  • Manage the end-to-end life-cycle of assigned product categories, including range planning, pricing, promotional activity, and inventory management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless category implementation
  • Monitor category performance and identify opportunities for improvement, making data-driven decisions to drive growth
  • Develop and present compelling business cases to justify category initiatives and secure necessary resources
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a category management or merchandising role within the retail or consumer products / FMCG or Food Packaging industry
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering category growth and profitability
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a commercial mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or a related discipline
