Responsibilities:

Working with 1902 Software's Magento team, the intern will:

  • Write, debug, and maintain PHP scripts to support web-based applications and internal systems.
  • Conduct technical research and analysis.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to translate functional requirements into working PHP code.
  • Prepare documentation for scripts and research findings.
  • Support minor enhancements or automation scripts as assigned.

Internship setup:

  • Onsite in Filinvest, Alabang
  • Daily hours: preferably available for full-day engagement on most days of the week

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, IT, or related program.
  • Required skills: PHP, MySQL, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Knowledge of Magento, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a huge advantage.
  • Passionate with coding.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct independent technical research.
  • Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fast-learner and has strong attention to detail.
  • In your resume, indicate the link to your online portfolio that includes:
  • At least one PHP-based project or academic capstone, ideally involving SQL.
  • GitHub repository links, code samples, or links to a working demo.
  • A brief description of each project outlining goals, technologies used, and your specific contributions.
  • Academic transcripts or grade reports from the previous two semesters. These will be reviewed as part of the overall evaluation process.

1902 Software is located in Filinvest, Alabang. We welcome applicants from Southern Metro Manila: Taguig, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Las Piñas, as well as from Cavite, and Laguna.

Job Type: OJT (On the job training)

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: Php150.00 per day
