As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a prestigious high-rise building located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the efficient operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks and address any repair issues in a timely manner
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and other service providers to coordinate maintenance and improvement projects
  • Maintain detailed records of all building operations, maintenance activities, and compliance checks
  • Supervise and train the building's technical staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their duties effectively
  • Collaborate with the Facilities Manager to identify and implement energy-efficient solutions and sustainable practices

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Building Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in a high-rise commercial or residential building
  • Thorough understanding of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and address technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

Pay: Php40, Php45,000.00 per month
