Hi there I'm Catrina, a therapist and coach helping people heal from abuse and reconnect with their strength. I'm building a YouTube channel focused on soothing, validating, and empowering content—and I'm looking for a creative, collaborative, and reliable video editor to join me in this mission.

About the Role:
This is an ongoing, long-term contract position. I publish 2 videos per week, and I'm looking for someone who can edit and deliver high-quality videos within 2–3 days of receiving materials. We'll have regular check-ins to stay aligned and keep things flowing smoothly.
What You'll Do:
Edit talking head, voiceover, and interview-style videos

Regularly create videos in InVideo using scripts I provide

Add text overlays, captions, transitions, and music

Source light B-roll and audio (especially through InVideo's built-in tools)

Design eye-catching YouTube thumbnails for each video

Maintain a soothing, serious, empowering tone in line with my brand

Collaborate closely to ensure the content reflects the message and emotional intent
Videos are usually 5–10 minutes long, and final deliverables should be optimized for YouTube upload.

Who You Are:
Proficient in video editing software (please list which ones you use)

Experience with InVideo is a big plus

Experience with YouTube SEO

Emotionally intuitive and detail-oriented

Responsive, communicative, and open to feedback

Comfortable with collaborative work and regular check-ins
We'll use asynchronous communication with regular updates and deliverables shared via Google Drive and email, but meetings are available as needed. Open communication and collaborative feedback are key.
