PLANNING

  1. Organizes the activities of the section.

1.1 Arranges schedule of duties of staff.

1.2 Ensures adequacy of personnel.

1.3 Communicates to the Head of the Section any need for additional equipment.

DOING/EXECUTION

  1. Provides cardiovascular services to patients such as ECG, 2-D Echo,

Holter, Stress Test

  1. Ensures that patient's condition is monitored properly.

  2. Provides orientation and development programs for personnel of the section.

  3. Maintains adequate inventory of equipment and supplies.

  4. Ensures that charges of cardiovascular services are properly and accurately

encoded.

  1. Submits required reports including census and other related information.

  2. Attends internal and external meetings when required.

  3. Oversees housekeeping.

9.1 Ensures the cleanliness of premises at all times.

9.2 Schedules pest-control and maintenance activities.

  1. Performs other related functions assigned by superior.

CHECKING/MONITORING

  1. Evaluates performance of subordinates.

  2. Checks results of procedures done and informs the resident or attending physician for

proper action.

  1. Ensures that cardiovascular procedures are followed and standards are

met.

ACTING/ADJUSTING

  1. Attends to customers' complaints on cardiovascular services and personnel and refers to the Head of the Section. 15. Reviews and recommends changes in policies to improve operations.
