The Trade Marketing Officer is a highly mobile and results-driven professional responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of trade marketing programs across a designated cluster of retail stores within a district or area. This role acts as a critical link between central marketing strategies and on-the-ground implementation, ensuring brand visibility, promotional effectiveness, and sales growth. The Trade Marketing Officer spends approximately 70% of their time in the field, actively engaging with store teams, monitoring market conditions, and driving initiatives to achieve ambitious sales and marketing objectives.
- Exceptional understanding of retail dynamics, consumer behavior, and in-store marketing principles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfortable with data analysis tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues in the field.
