Job Title: Learning & Development Specialist - Catalog Department

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Learning & Development Specialist to support the Catalog Department.

This role is central to training, enforcing, and maintaining best practices across our global workflows. You will serve as the operational bridge between Project Managers, Team Leads, and frontline team members by designing, documenting, and delivering training that ensures consistency, compliance, and efficiency.

As a key contributor, you will monitor standards, drive knowledge retention, and reinforce scalable systems. If you thrive in structured environments and enjoy developing others through clear process training, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Onboarding

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing team members.
  • Create and maintain learning materials, including SOPs, Trainual modules, guides, and video walkthroughs.
  • Facilitate onboarding sessions to establish baseline knowledge in Amazon catalog processes for all new hires.

Process Enforcement & Standards

  • Support Team Leads and Project Managers in enforcing established catalog standards and workflows.
  • Conduct regular audits of case handling, listing accuracy, and workflow compliance to ensure adherence.
  • Provide actionable feedback to team members and leadership to improve alignment with department SOPs.

Knowledge Management

  • Own and expand the Catalog department's training library in Trainual, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate specialized knowledge into clear, accessible training formats.
  • Act as a primary resource for global team members seeking clarity on process execution.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with Project Managers to identify skill gaps and create targeted training opportunities.
  • Assist Team Leads in coaching their teams and reinforcing catalog best practices.
  • Help manage cross-functional alignment by ensuring all team members understand shared standards and expectations.

Continous Improvement

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve training delivery methods and knowledge retention.
  • Track and measure training outcomes, adjusting approaches as needed to maximize effectiveness.
  • Stay current on Amazon policy changes and integrate updates into all relevant training programs.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • 1–3 years of experience in training, operations, or a related eCommerce role.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with knowledge management tools (e.g., Trainual, Asana, G-Suite, M365).
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills suitable for a global audience.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment.

Preferred:

  • Direct experience with Amazon Seller Central and catalog operations.
  • Familiarity with SOP development and process improvement frameworks.
  • Previous exposure to eCommerce training, coaching, or quality assurance.
  • Basic analytical skills (Excel, Google Sheets) to track performance and measure training effectiveness.
