WE'RE HIRING FOR A HR GENERALIST PH AT QUEZON CITY
Excis is a global IT support leader globally, driven by innovation and collaboration. We're looking for an HR Generalist PH who will support EMEA shift under Manila team and play a key role in managing daily HR operations, employee relations, and process improvements that support our dynamic workforce.
Role Overview
The HR Generalist (Senior) serves as the primary HR partner for assigned EMEA countries. The role oversees the full employee lifecycle and manages complex HR cases requiring sound judgment, policy interpretation, and regional compliance expertise. The role serves as the first point of escalation, resolving cases before involving the HR Team Lead. This position also works closely with the HR Executive (Junior), who provides administrative and operational support, ensuring smooth HR delivery across assigned EMEA countries.
1. HR Case Management & Advisory
Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, payroll, policy clarifications, and complex HR issues.
Monitor and track HR cases in the HR information system to ensure timely resolution, prevent unnecessary escalation, and support process improvements.
2. Onboarding & Offboarding
Lead and monitor the routine pre-boarding and onboarding process for new hires, including document collection, background verification, IT and employee profile setup, and new hire orientation sessions.
Assign mentors or buddy programs to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Track new hire progress and engagement during the probation period.
Lead and monitor the routine offboarding process, ensuring all documentation is complete, including exit interviews, clearance, and account deactivation. Analyze feedback of exiting employees to support employee retention improvements.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
Manage complex and escalated employee relations cases, including performance issues, disciplinary actions, employment contracts, and terminations.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and team cohesion, including conducting regular check-ins and feedback sessions with employees.
4. Payroll & Benefits Management
Oversee payroll accuracy in compliance with local statutory requirements, and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
Handle complex and escalated queries related to salary, benefits, taxation, or deductions.
Coordinate with finance teams for payroll audits and reporting.
5. HR Compliance & Policies (EMEA Region)
Ensure full adherence to labor laws and internal policies across assigned EMEA countries.
Regularly update policies to reflect regulatory changes and communicate updates effectively.
Maintain accurate documentation for audits, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
Mentor the HR Executive (Junior) to build their knowledge and capability in compliance matters.
6. Training & Development
Partner with departments to identify role-specific training needs based on job roles and responsibilities.
Co-create training materials and facilitate sessions, ensuring continuous learning opportunities.
Maintain training records to support effective learning.
7. HR Analytics & Process Improvement
Analyze HR metrics (attrition, case trends, engagement, etc.) and create dashboards for leadership.
Lead HR process reviews and implement improvement projects with measurable impact.
Develop and maintain SOPs for all HR operational processes.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
High degree of initiative and ownership
Conflict resolution, negotiation abilities, and decision making.
Empathy and active listening.
Adaptability to changing HR policies and business needs.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Team collaboration and mentoring, supporting colleagues' development and knowledge sharing.
Strong understanding of employment laws, payroll, and compliance requirements; EMEA experience is a plus.
Proficient in HR Management Systems (HRMS) and HR analytics tools.
Skilled in audit and compliance tracking.
Competent in data analysis and reporting using Excel or similar tools.
Experienced in creating and maintaining HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Capable of managing projects to drive HR process improvements.
