QA/QC Engineer
Job Summary:

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction and engineering activities comply with quality standards, project specifications, and applicable codes. The role involves conducting inspections, implementing quality procedures, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating with site teams to maintain the highest level of workmanship and compliance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor the project quality plan, procedures, and inspection & testing plans.
  • Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, and construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and codes.
  • Coordinate with the construction team to ensure proper execution of works according to approved quality standards.
  • Review and verify material test reports, calibration certificates, and inspection records.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation including inspection reports, checklists, and test results.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors regarding quality control matters.
  • Ensure that construction works are executed in accordance with the approved method statements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety and environmental standards related to quality activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in QA/QC roles in construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), inspection procedures, and codes.
  • Experience with quality control tools and documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC reporting systems.
  • Experience working with consultants and third-party inspectors preferred.
