JOB SUMMARY

The Store Development Manager is responsible in managing opening of new stores, including renovations. This role would handle setup of non food category during store setup, opening or renovations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Management

Overseeing new store openings and renovations from concept to completion

Ensure projects are completed on time and follow the store standards

  • Design and Layout Optimization

Design and optimize floor plans to improve space efficiency, customer flow, and brand presence

  • Brand and Operational Compliance

Ensure that new or renovated store layouts and visual merchandising strategies align with brand standards and marketing objectives

Lead in the implementation of category development plans in the stores

  • Cross-functional Coordination

Work closely with various internal teams, such as marketing, merchandising, and operations, as well as external vendors and contractors

Collaborate with Merchandising Managers/Buyers on the execution of planograms to elevate customer centricity

  • Vendor and Contractor Management:

Manage vendors and contractors involved in construction, design, and setup

  • Performance Analysis

Use performance data and shopper insights to refine store layouts and product placement for better results

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of  Business Administration/Management, Marketing or any related field
  • Has relevant experience in store opening & store development/renovations, preferably in a retail industry
  • Proficient in project management and customer relationship management
  • Strong market research and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; Can work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Ability to develop and execute business growth strategies
