Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process, verify, and record financial transactions accurately in the general ledger.
  • Review and reconcile balance sheets, income statements, and financial statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights and summaries for management.
  • Conduct variance analysis and explain fluctuations in financial results compared to budgets and forecasts.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Assist in product costing and monitor cost-related data, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Reconcile inventory accounts and work closely with the inventory team to ensure accurate valuation.
  • Provide cost analysis to aid in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain internal controls and support process improvements for greater accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in audits, preparing necessary documentation and answering inquiries from auditors.
  • Guide and mentor junior accounting staff, assisting with their development and training.
  • Review the work of team members, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
  • Collaborate with other departments for cross-functional tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field; CPA is a plus.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting software and advanced in MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
