
Commissary Manager

We are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Commissary Manager to oversee the daily operations of our commissary. The Commissary Manager will be responsible for production planning, inventory control, food safety, staff supervision, and ensuring timely distribution of products to our stores. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain efficiency while upholding company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Stocking & Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and stock merchandise or food supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to supervisors.
- Rotate stock to prevent spoilage or expiration.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
Customer Service
- Assist internal store requests with purchases and inquiries.
- Operate cash registers and process payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout or distribution area.
Food Preparation & Handling
- Prepare and package food items following health and safety regulations.
- Ensure food items are stored at appropriate temperatures.
- Follow portioning and recipe guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
Sanitation & Safety Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the commissary, including shelves, storage areas, and food prep spaces.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and OSHA compliance.
- Dispose of expired or damaged goods properly.
Administrative & Reporting Tasks
- Prepare inventory and production reports; order supplies as needed.
- Supervise commissary staff, assign tasks, and ensure productivity standards.
- Train and coach employees on company policies, food safety, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with commissary policies, government regulations, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with store managers and other departments for smooth product distribution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, Food Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in commissary, food production, or kitchen operations management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
