Summary:

A leading food and beverage group is seeking a strategic Commissary Operations Director to lead large-scale production operations and ensure excellence in product quality, consistency, and innovation. This role is responsible for setting operational direction, strengthening food safety compliance, and driving process improvements that enable sustainable growth across multiple branches.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for all commissary operations, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and cost optimization.

  • Champion innovation in production processes and collaborate with R&D to introduce new product lines that meet evolving market demands.

  • Establish and enforce rigorous food safety compliance and quality assurance practices across all commissary activities.

  • Partner closely with Sales & Marketing and Operations teams to align production planning with promotional calendars and growth initiatives.

  • Lead, develop, and empower commissary leadership teams to build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, Bakery & Pastry Arts, Business Management, or related field preferred.

  • 5-10 years of experience in a commercial bakery or pastry commissary, with 2+ years in a senior leadership role.

  • Deep technical knowledge of large-scale baking, cake decoration, chilling/freezing, and packaging processes.

  • Strong background in production management for multi-branch food service operations or high-volume retail.

  • Expertise in quality control systems, food safety standards (HACCP, GMP), and inventory management software.

  • Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills with a passion for quality and operational innovation.

Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days onsite (M/W/Th), with core hours 10AM–3PM (start between 7–10AM)
