Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site HR Manager role based in Laguna, Philippines. The HR Manager will oversee and manage talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role partners closely with management to align people strategies with business goals, foster digital transformation in HR processes, and ensure effective labor and union relations. In addition, the HR Manager will ensure a positive work environment and drive initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement HR strategic planning and initiatives across recruitment, performance management, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Drive digitalization of HR processes to improve efficiency, analytics, and employee experience.
  • Oversee labor relations, including effective engagement and negotiation with unions to maintain a positive and compliant workplace environment.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with management to support succession planning, capability building, and cultural alignment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely HR operations, including payroll, compliance, and workforce reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10–12 years of progressive HR experience, with exposure to strategic HR, industrial relations, and organizational development.
  • Leadership and team management skills to effectively lead HR operations and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Talent acquisition, recruitment, and employee onboarding experience.
  • Strong skills in employee relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute HR initiatives, manage change, and influence across all levels.
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills.
