Overview
The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing the full spectrum of Human Resource functions, ensuring alignment between HR strategies and business objectives. This role oversees recruitment, talent management, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Management
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support business goals and organizational growth.
Partner with management to forecast manpower needs and plan workforce strategies.
- Talent Acquisition & Development
Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding to attract and retain top talent.
Drive employee training, career development, and succession planning programs.
- Performance & Employee Relations
Manage performance appraisal processes, employee engagement, and disciplinary actions.
Promote a positive, compliant, and productive work environment.
- Compensation & Benefits
Ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices in line with market trends.
Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and related compliance matters.
- HR Operations & Compliance
Maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure legal and corporate compliance.
Monitor HR metrics and provide regular reports to management.
- Organizational Development
Support change management initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Strengthen internal communication and company values through HR programs and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work strategically and hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
