Overview:

The Purchasing Clerk supports the purchasing department by handling documentation, filing, and reconciliation tasks. This role ensures accuracy, organization, and timely coordination between purchasing and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and file Sales Invoices (SIs), Purchase Order (PO's), and Delivery Receipts (DR's).
  • Assist in cleaning up and ensuring Vendor Price Records (VPRs) are updated and accurate.
  • Print and file Requests for Payment (RFP's ) and (PO's).
  • Record and track transmittals to Accounting
  • Assist in reconciling delivered items against corresponding PO's.

Qualifications:

  • At least a high school diploma, college-level or degree is an advantage.
  • Experience in clerical, purchasing, or administrative work preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic office equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

This position involves clerical and administrative duties, requiring precision, timeliness, and reliability in handling purchasing documentation.
