Sales Coordinator supports business in optimizing bookings to increase revenue.

  • Supports Sales and Distribution and Brand and Marketing departments in all aspects.
  • Helps facilitate any of the hotel's revenue generating efforts.
  • Establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
  • Coordinating with other departments in facilitating and distributing of BEO (Banquet Event Order).
  • Support sales representatives and coordinate sales related activities.
  • Deals directly with the client by providing a tour and getting to know them so that a deal and contract can be ultimately reached.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Identifies improvements or new ideas by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Attends major functions (i.e. trade shows and promotional events) and chamber meetings that deal especially with his/her market area.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Arrange for creation and distribution of supporting documents and presentations to help the sales team in generating business leads.
  • Maintain organized sales records, administrative duties and report month-end goal setting.
