Job description

This role ensures that product displays align with brand guidelines, customer preferences, and seasonal trends while managing a team of merchandisers to achieve business objectives. The Merchandising Coordinator works closely with sales agents and operations to maintain inventory levels, optimize product placement, and track sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement merchandising plans that align with company goals and customer demands.
  • Supervise and train a team of merchandisers to ensure efficient execution of merchandising activities.
  • Monitor product displays, inventory levels, and promotional setups to ensure consistency and appeal.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to recommend adjustments to product placement and assortment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and buyers to secure optimal product selection and availability.
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure adherence to visual merchandising standards.
  • Prepare reports on sales performance, stock movement, and merchandising activities for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in retail merchandising or a supervisory role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in merchandising tools and retail management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
