Accounts Receivable Specialist (WFH)

Job Description:

  • Manage accounts receivable using accounting software and other programs
  • Collate, code, post and reconcile accounts receivable in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete the weekly cash at bank reconciliations.
  • Create and maintain effective relationships with customers to ensure account collection.
  • Apply cash payments in accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile customers/vendors account balances.
  • Provide and assist in the coordination with external organizations that have dealings with the company.
  • Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
  • Engage in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
  • Other duties may be assigned or required for the performance of this position.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related field.
  • 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable and General Accounting experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Navision, Business Central, Oracle, is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications; including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Self-starter and able to work both independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision, and able to accept direction on given assignments.
  • Ablility to work collaboratively and effectively with others.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to work in the night shift/schedule.
