The Finance & Procurement Head (senior position) is responsible for managing strategic budgeting, sourcing management and financial planning to ensure cost efficiency and sustainability for the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Procurement Leadership

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals and sustainability targets.
  • Oversee supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management using data-driven insights.
  • Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality, compliance, and ESG standards.

Treasury Oversight

  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and short-term investments to ensure liquidity and financial agility.
  • Monitor financial risks and implement hedging strategies where appropriate.
  • Support capital allocation decisions that enable innovation and long-term growth.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Collaborate with finance to align procurement plans with budget forecasts and strategic priorities.
  • Tracks spend against budget and identify cost-saving opportunities through predictive analytics.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, financial regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, currency fluctuations, and geopolitical shifts.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead procurement and treasury teams with clear KPIs, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Engage internal stakeholders to align sourcing and treasury strategies with enterprise goals.

Technology & Process Optimization

  • Implement digital tools (e.g., AI-driven procurement, blockchain for supply chain transparency) to streamline operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sourcing and cash management processes through automation and innovation.

Future-Centric Role

  • Champion digital transformation and sustainability across procurement and treasury functions.
  • Anticipate emerging trends—such as decentralized finance, circular supply chains, and integrate them into strategic planning.
  • Foster innovation by collaborating with startups, financial technology and global partners to future-proof financial and sourcing models.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any business-related field or Finance with master's in business administration.
  • At least 10 years' experience preferably in FMCG industry
