DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor daily Petty Cash Fund transactions and ensure accurate posting and reconciliation.
  • Verify that fund requests comply with company policies and ensure timely liquidation of cash advances.
  • Maintain complete and proper documentation for fund replenishments and receipts.
  • Check incoming bank deposits, issue Official Receipts (OR) and/or Collection Receipts (CR), and ensure timely posting in SAP.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of all bank transactions.
  • Safeguard cash and checks in transit.
  • Handle foreign supplier payments, including invoice validation, remittance preparation, coordination with Procurement, and securing approvals.
  • Coordinate with banks for telegraphic transfers (TTs), wire payments, and foreign currency transactions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Monitor foreign exchange rates and schedule remittances based on supplier terms and optimal FX timing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for foreign remittances (e.g., BSP regulations, documentation, SWIFT confirmations).
  • Maintain a tracker for foreign payments to monitor due dates, remittance statuses, and forex exposure.
  • Prepare and submit foreign currency reports and FX utilization updates.
  • Coordinate with Accounting and Procurement to reconcile foreign supplier balances and advance payments.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and transaction summaries related to foreign payments.
  • Escalate cross-border payment issues, compliance concerns, or supplier disputes to the Treasury Head.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Accounting, Financial Management, or any related course in Business or Commerce.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Work experience in bookkeeping and accounting is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Familiarity with an Accounting/ERP System is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  • Possesses above-average written and verbal communication skills.
