IT PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

CLIENT: USA; REMOTE

SHIFT: NIGHT / GRAVEYARD PHT

TYPE: FULL TIME; INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is an administrative professional with a strong background in IT procurement, vendor management, and financial processing. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing purchasing processes, handling invoicing and billing, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of IT equipment, software, and related services.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers such as TD Synnex, Ingram Micro, and Dell to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and process orders.
  • Utilize ConnectWise Sell for preparing, tracking, and managing procurement quotes and proposals.
  • Process invoices, billing, collections, and reimbursements through QuickBooks.
  • Maintain accurate data entry and records of purchases, payments, and vendor information.
  • Monitor order fulfillment and delivery schedules, ensuring timely receipt of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand IT hardware and software needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, budgets, and procurement procedures.
  • Support financial reporting by providing procurement and payment documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT procurement, vendor management, or related administrative roles.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (invoicing, billing, collections, and reimbursement processing).
  • Hands-on experience with ConnectWise Sell or similar procurement/quoting systems.
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with IT distribution vendors (e.g., TD Synnex, Ingram Micro, Dell).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licensing.
  • Experience working in technology or IT services industry.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Work from Home Requirements (Must have before the start date)

  • Internet Connection : Min of 30 mbps wired internet connection speed AND a backup internet connection (before start date)
  • Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a working computer with updated current programmes from home with Dual Monitors
  • Noise Canceling Headset (Plantronics)
  • Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
  • Must be comfortable working with a Monitoring Software (for payroll and timekeeping purposes only)
  • Webcam - Contractors must have a working webcam

Job Type: Full-time
